Open Doors to Trusted Graduate School Guests

Finding someone trustworthy to stay in your place while you are away for a summer internship or term on exchange is tough.  Paying for two homes on a student budget is even tougher!

TrustedGuests matches renters with guests who already have mutual trust.  All guests are graduate students at the world's leading schools.

Finding a home for your internship or exchange is almost as easy as reserving a hotel room and you can pay by credit card:

1. Sign up with your school email address

Rentals are available exclusively to degree-seeking graduate students within some of the world's top academic communities.

We understand that many trustworthy guests are not yet eligible to join TrustedGuests' communities.  We are expanding rapidly, and encourage you to recommend your school so we can notify you as we grow.

2. Browse and reserve homes

You will have access to all types of homes.  Most are empty and usually allow a partner and children, some have roommates, and most require you purchase an insurance policy for $69 that covers the first $3,000 of accidental damage.  We will bill you each month until the end of your stay and you can even pay by credit card.

Be sure to check back often, as home availability changes quickly.

3. Chat with the renter

To ensure there is a good fit, the renter may want to chat with you.  A $50 refundable deposit holds your place until you and the renter have a chance to chat.  We also need a photo of your student ID.  We know this is a hassle, but the renters are counting on you being a student.

4. Approve the home

Verify the home matches the description within the first 2 days of your stay. Only then will we send your money to the renter.
